Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I own a food distribution business. One of the restaurant owners walked out and an employee assumed the operations of the business. They owe me money and the employee who assumed the business, claims he owes me nothing. What recourse do I have?

As a franchise attorney I can say your recourse is to sue the restaurant and let them figure out who is going to pay. Being served with a lawsuit is usually a good motivator. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
