Fraud or Deceptive Practices

When purchasing a product VIA the internet from

a USA based company IE: Florida. Is it necessary

for a company to honor its promise of FREE

future upgrades to customers that have purchased

software from that USA based company.

False Advertising Remedies

Q. When purchasing a product VIA the internet from

a Florida company. Must the company honor its

promise of FREE future upgrades to customers that

have purchased software from them.

A. They should and you can file a complaint with

the local State Attorney; the Better Business

Bureau; or the Clerk of the courts to enforce your

rights. You can write a letter to the editor

of the local paper or contact a local investigative

reporter for a TV station. However, unless there

are enough similar purchasers like you to justify

a Class action, I doubt any attorney would take

the case w/o money up front.
