Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
i and my friends decided to start online dvd rental business. we are having around 250 dvds that we have purchased. the dvds involve movies,music,games. so i would like to know do we have legal rights to do so? what are the rights of consumer on dvd that he/she has purchased. is it same in all countries? what should i do to start this business?

1. You absolutely may not purchase DVDs and rent them for viewing to others without a license from the copyright owner.
2. The purchasers can also also be liable. Ever heard of Napster's faux pas?
3. Copyright law is country-specific, but certain rights are constant in most of the free world by virtue of international treaties.
4. Don't do it or get serious and hire some attorneys to help.
