Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

Hello

I worked for a company as an independent sales agent - no contract at all - and was given an email address - [email protected].

I used that email address to solicit some of my past customers, create sales leads, etc etc. I emailed many of my past customers and was doing 30 - 50 sales emails a day.

I left the organization as they were dishonest and did not produce what they said they would. Basically, it was a map company, and they said they would produce 250,000 maps for distribution. The clients who advertised on the map were given to believe that 250,000 maps will be distributed but only 20,000 maps were printed. The clients were jipped.

My concern is that they are using my email address to make additional sales and not giving me notice or commission on those sales. Please advise.

Thanks,

Daan

As a Franchise Attorney I think you need to clarify your question. Are they using your email address that they gave you to make sales? Or are they using the email addresses of your past customers to make sales? Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
