Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I hired a photographer for my wedding and he didn't do the album we paid him for. Now he says that his company is in bankrupcy and that he is no longer liable to us. Is this correct? Or could I still take him to court?

It depends on who your contract was with and whether you are listed as a creditor in the bankruptcy. If you contracted with a corporation, there is no personal liability.
Probably. If you have a contract with him or a receipt that included the wedding album you were never provided, then you can take him to court unless the contract states otherwise. This is probably a matter for small claims, but again if there's a contract check it venue/forum. Also, check your local court's website or contact an attorney for assistance. Regards,
