Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Holiday pay
I had gotten written up at my work on a
Thursday for texting. As a result I was
forced to not come to work on Friday, and
was forced to forfeit my holiday pay for
memorial day on Monday. Is this legal?
That's about $100 ill be missing on my
paycheck. Is this legal?

If that is the firm's policy for texting (i.e., playing around while getting paid for working, but not working). You were cheating your employer, what do you think they should have done -- fire you?
