Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Hurricane Shutters.
What is the time limit for me to wait on shutters to be installed to my property? Altough, I got a contract signed on november 2005. The company do not submit my permit as of yet.
Thanks

Re: Hurricane Shutters.
If time has not been put into the contract then the law requires that the task be performed "in a reasonable time" based on location, custom in the industry, and extraneous factors affecting the progress of the work. I believe there is also a statute requiring a contractor to obtain a permit within 90 days receipt of the deposit, but I would have to look it up to be sure.
Good Luck,
