Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

My husband is being sued in a civil suit stating he gave away trade secrets to a competitor and cost the company over 15,000, which in not true all he did was furnish 3 names and address which are public record. My question is. If a judgment is filed against him can he file bankruptcy and put the judgement in it?

Hold on, back up. Is he going to lose the lawsuit? Does he have an attorney to defend him in the suit? If a judgment is rendered against him, the opposing party will have to file to enforce judgment. He may also appeal the judgment.

There are a lot of "ifs" in between when judgment is rendered and a bankruptcy. I don't think it is certain whether the judgment may be discharged in bankruptcy.
