Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I am an independent computer repair contractor in Florida. I submit self-employment tax returns, and my fees are strictly labor, so no sales tax is collected nor needs to be paid to the government. As such, am I required to be licensed in any way?

You at least need to get a business license, which can be purchased at the tax collector's office in your county. I do not believe that computer repair technicians are required by law to have any specific business or professional licenses. But, I am not dispositively sure.
