Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I am an independent sales representative that solicited an Professional Artist to sell her artworks via email. She replied and indicated yes. During our first deal, she decided that due to a creativity dispute, we weren't a good fit, businesswise. Personally, in my opinion she doesn't know what business is all about. My question is does the act of soliciting her via email and receiving an confirmation email back satisfy the laws concerning personal/ business agreements in The State of Florida?

Hi and thanks for asking your question. Based on the facts you provided above, my answer would be that you and her had an agreement until she canceled it. Thus, if sold any of her art before she terminated the agreement, she would owe you payment for those sales based upon the terms of your agreement.
