Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Invoice Charges
I have received an invoice from a company via e-mail that states costs of goods etc. and a delivery subtotal of ''$0.00'' for a web-based order. My credit card statement showed 2 payments to this company, one for the goods at the original price and a separate one for $50+ which I have had no invoice for. The company informs me that this second charge is for the cost of shipping and that I was informed prior to clicking purchase that shipping would be ''Billed later at actual price'' but I have received nothing about this via e-mail other than a charge on my account. Is this legal when the invoice states $0 and no written warning has been provided of this charge?

It is legal for them to charge whatever you agreed to pay. If the charge does not match what your agreement was, then file a complaint with the credit card company and dispute the charge. The company will then have to support the charge in order to get paid by the credit card company.
