Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

Invoice Charges

I received an invoice to pay a sum for the use of a horse in a show. At the beginning of the horse season no mention was made that there would be a fee to use the barn's horse in the show. Now I am presented with a bill for 4 previous months. No contract was signed nor a verbal agreement made that there would be a charge. Am I entitled to pay these monies.

Re: Invoice Charges

Unless you object in writing, you could become liable. Absent any written agreement, you are in he said she said territory. You should respond in writing and consult with an attorney as soon as possible.
