Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Judgement Defense
A Judgement was entered against me for $16,300 for a credit card from 3 years ago. It has been two months since the judgement and I just received a a fact information sheet, interrogatories, and production request from the plaintiff demanding all of my financial information and financial status. This request came from the plaintiff. Am I required to complete this paperwork and send it back to them? Can any action be taken against me by the court by my refusing to complete the paperwork and ignoring their request? Also, is it possible to negotiate a payment plan with them for less money than the full $16,300 since the limit on the initial card was only $5,000 ?
