Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Judgement
Hello, I have recently tried to refinance my home and a judgement has been placed on my home for something that was filed against my husband's company in 2002. The judgement was entered against the company and my husband. The home wasn't purchased until 2004 and by myself only as we were seperated. The attorney sent me a copy of the judgement but did say in the correspondence that ''Michael Angle d/b/a Angle Construction, and 677 Lake Dexter Circle is not homesteaded.'' What does that mean? And can a judgement be placed on my property for something that is in anothers name?

Re: Judgement
No. If they refuse to vacate the filing you will have to bring an action. Good luck.
