As of July 1st, corporations in Florida have to publish the name of their DBA in the newpaper before they can register it. I have a sole proprietorship, so I am bound by that new law?

The new law applies to fictitious names of corporations. A sole proprietorship is not a corporation thus would not have a fictitious name which needs to be registered or published.
