laws on using a buisness name
a worker does art for me for 6 years, leaves and opens his own gallery and advertises it as '' his name formerly of my company name'' is it legal to use my company name in his ad promting his new store without my permission?? Thanks for you time..

Yes. unless you had a different written agreement with him. Every employer should have such an agreement with their employees. All the employers I represent do. Good luck.
