Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Hello,
I would like to know if it is legal for a business; not a bank, casino, or government agency, to ask for fingerprints.
Thank You

Probably yes. I have seen it in a lot of businesses. In one, it is the way you get access inside. Your fingerprint is your key to the door.

Yes, so long as the purpose and use is explained to the person providing the fingerprints, and such fingerprint records are handled consistent with privacy and confidentiality rules.
