Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

legal escort service

I think I'm might be in some trouble. I started an escort service in the county of Pinellas and have since moved from county to city. I just found out that city does not allow businesses like me. Now I'm in a bind because one of my girls got into some trouble with the customer and now the city wants to ask me all sorts of questions about my business. I don't know how to get out of this situation without having to move and losing my business. The City of Clearwater does not allow adult businesses within their city limits. Can anyone please give me some advice on how to get around this and get everything straightened out without losing my business and my hair.

Escort business

Any attorney would definitely need to spend alot more time and have a lot more informationbefore being able to answer your question. Yousuggest there is a particular city ordinancethat prohibits your type of business. The firstthing that comes to mind is the constitutionalityof the ordinance. However, such legal questionsrequire a lot of research and time and the litigationwould probably be prohibitively expensive.
