I did some sub contract work for a company for 900.00. I have signed workorders, The company is still inbusiness and simply lie constantly about the check is in the mail, Can I put a lein or is it too late,, the work was completed dec of 2005

The lien is the quick, simplified process. But Mr. Jay is correct that you still have a claim for money owed, but don't wait around any longer or you will eventually lose that right also.

Sorry, but it is way too late. You only lost your right to file a lien however. You can still file a suit for damages in a court of law.
