Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I live in Florida. I am starting a virtual medical practice. My current medical license is in Georgia. Most of my initial clients (first 6 months after starting this new business) will be from Georgia until I establish my Florida medical license (after which I anticipate clients in both Florida and Georgia). In which state should I form my LLC?

That's a great question. As a Florida resident the answer is almost certainly going to be that you'll be better off with a Florida LLC. But you may not be able to form a Florida LLC until your license is issued by that state. I'm not sure. It's an interesting question but not one I'm willing to get out the books to answer in this free forum. There's a Florida lawyer who posts here a lot; hopefully he'll chime in soon. Of course there are Georgia laws to consider as well having to do with your specific practice.
Good luck.
