Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
LLC partners
My boyfriend charged up my credit cards to run an LLC which we were both listed as managing members. He then abandoned me, the company and all the debt, leaving himself register agent. I have since paid some of the credit cards through the company and now have resigned the LLC. Can I be sued by customers with pending work?

Re: LLC partners
It all depends on the facts...what they try to sue you for. But you are much safer having gotten away from the company than you were with the company.

Generally the LLC has limited liability.
