Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Hi, I loaned somebody some money, we signed a promissory note, and it was notarized, and they are not paying me back. But here is my issue, the agreement was that I would make two disbursements of 20,000$ to the debtor, but I only made one disbursement of 20,000$. I have records that the money was paid, but I am worried about enforcing the contract since technically I didn't meet my side of the obligations.
Do I have anything to worry about?
