Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
There is a local bank that has allowed a car salesman to park his cars on their lot. I bought one of his cars. He told me that the check engine light that was on could be ignored because it was only a bad sensor. I ended up having to spend $2000 on the engine having the head gasket replaced. Now the whole engine blew up and it will take another $2,000, or more, to replace the engine. I feel that I believed him, partly due to the fact that the bank was allowing him to park his cars on their lot. Do I have grounds for a claim against the bank's general liability carrier?

Based on what? Why would the bank be liable in this situation?
