Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Maximum interest amount for overdue invoices
I'm suing a client for overdue invoices. My proposals and invoices clearly state that late payments will be subject to 1.5% interest per month.
The client's attorney states that this is in excess of the statutory limits imposed by the courts.
This lawsuit takes place in Florida.
