Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Moving An LLC To A Different State (NJ to FL)
For the last 5 years I have had a one-person LLC in New Jersey with its own EIN and an associated retirement account (UNIK). I just moved to Florida and want to do business here (permanently).
Can I in some way move my NJ LLC to Florida and use the same fed EIN and retirement account I used in New Jersey. Or do I need to start with a new Florida LLC, new EIN and new retirement account plan?

Re: Moving An LLC To A Different State (NJ to FL)
A foreign llc can operate in Florida, by filing the appropriate paperwork. The paperwork must also be corrected in NJ. You need to meet with an attorney in your area to discuss the matter. If you need further information, please feel free to contact the undersigned. 305-534-4757
