Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Non Competition Agreement
My wife works for a company that does background checks, she signed a non competition agreement.
I want to start a business doing background checks, and I never signed any agreement with her company. Am I or she liable in any way.

Re: Non Competition Agreement
Your wife's noncompete should not prevent you from doing background checks. If discovered, however, it might get her fired unless her contract expressly prohibits termination without cause.
