Office equipment lease?
Our office leased a copy machine for 42 mo. @ $74 mo. + taxes= $3318, back in 2006. Now we find out that the machine MSRP back in 2006 was $1550. Is it legal for a leasing co. to charge more than twice the amount of the cost of the machine?

Yes. Your only recourse might be if the leasing company made some material misrepresentation to you, or otherwise engaged in some sort of deceptive or unfair trade practice.
Short of that, however, a contract is a contract. You are stuck.
