Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
opening bank account LLC
There are 2 members of our LLC. Is it legal for one of the members to open a separate bank account with the LLC's name without the other member's knowledge? And cash checks made out to the LLC in this ''other'' bank account?

Re: opening bank account LLC
If that is what is happening, no it is not legal. It is potentially both a civil and criminal matter. If your partner has been doing this, you need to get an attorney as soon as possible.
