Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I am opening a small business. I signed a lease in Nov. 2023 and while filling out permits with county to install a 3 compartment sink, the landlord said I must sign a another contract to pay property taxes if they increase due to sink or he wont write a letter to allow sink installation. Is this legal?

Depends on the wording of your lease. Are you allowed to make improvements? If not , he merely wants to protect himself should his taxes increase due to the improvements, which sounds reasonable.
