Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

Overnight shipping package lost

My company sent a package worth over $20,000.00 with an overnight mail company. The receiver claims to NOT have received the package and paid for the items from me using his American Express card. American Express is requesting the money back from ''me'' because they returned their customer's money already. Please advise me who is responsible for the $20k to American Express.

Thank you very much. If you need any further information to complete this request please advise and I will respond ASAP.

Have a terrific day,

Was the package signed for? If so, who signed for it and where was it received at? Which company did you ship it with and was it insured? What is your company's agreement with the overnight mail company as to lost or misdirected packages? Who is responsibile? Do you have insurance to cover this loss? The list of questions can go on and on. More information is needed.
