Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Owned corporate names & DBA's
I opened a business 3 years ago with a corporation name and a
DBA. Since that time I have dissoved that Corporation and opened
another Corporation with a DBA. I was just informed that I still own
the previous Corporation name and DBA, yet someone is
operating a business under the name I own. What legal right do I
have if any?

Re: Owned corporate names & DBA's
You probably have no liability. However from the time you dissolved the corporation, the name should not have been re-issued..At this point, since you are not having difficulty you may be better off doing nothing.
