Parent company of other companies
whats the best way to file a company to where it acts as a parent company to several other companies but with little liability to them?

Many issues stem from your question and an attorney should be consulted. In general to limit the liability of the parent company, it should not have any operations and just own the stock or be the sole member of the subsidiary companies.
