personal lawsuits

can business owners get personal lawsuits even it is a corporation?And I thought by law, business owners should be protected under the corporation and insurance liability?

How in Florida they allow lawyers to come after business owners'personal assets in as company is not abble to pay false damage?

The Corporate shield should protect the individual from liability. It may depend upon the facts of your case.

If the business owner was the negligent or wrongful actor, he or she is not shielded from liability any more that the driver of a Coke truck is that runs a ed light and hits someone. The employee of a business that is negligent can be sued personally. If the corporation is a sham, the corporate veil can be pierced to go after the owners as well.
