Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Posting Online Articles on a website
I am a moderator on a science website. We post science articles found on the Internet on the front page of our site. The articles are posted with a corresponding link to the original site from which we obtained the article. We always list the source of the article. Are we violating any law by posting the articles on our front page in this way?

That's a 'maybe'. It's prima facie a copyright violation, but it may fall under the 'fair use' exception. The only way to be absolutely sure would be to get permission from the original publisher that holds the copyright.
