Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Pregnancy
We have a consultant who is unable to work a consistent 40 hour work week as required by her contract. Her services have been terminated by our client. (Not due to the pregnancy) She is 3 months pregnant, and difficulties in the pregnancy are causing her to miss days, which make her unmarketable.
We do not have another client in the area in which she lives. What are our obligations to find her work?

Re: Pregnancy
Your obligation to find her work depend in large part on the terms of your contract with her. You should provide a copy of the contract for an attorney to review, in order for you to obtain the answer to your question.
