Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

Previous Employer Company Stock

I worked for HealthSouth Rehabilitation from 1994-1996. As an employee, I owned a few shares of their stock. When I left that job, I was notified of the shares that I owned, but because the amount was so low, HealthSouth would not cash them out for me. So, all these years I have done nothing with these shares. I have attempted to contact HealthSouth regarding these shares of stock which are rightfully mine and they say they have no record of it. Even though it is only a little bit I want to get those shares and do something with it. I don't know who to contact about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A simple search of Google on the internet reveals that if you have questions about your stock ownership, a change of address, or issues with lost certificates, contact HealthSouth's stock transfer agent directly: Mellon Financial Services. You will have to do a Google Search as Law Guru would not accept my giving you their telephone number.
