Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Pro Se Representation of Corporation
I am the managing partner of an LLC in Florida and I have a situation. We provided tax preparation services to an individial where he engaged our services and faxed us all his items to include in a tax return. The person refused to pay after services were rendered. I sent him a demand for payment letter or I will file suit.
It is my understanding that I cannot represent my own corporation Pro Se in Florida. Is this correct?
Thanks,

Re: Pro Se Representation of Corporation
A corporation can sue in small claims court, without an attorney, as long as the amount in controversy is $5,000.00 or less.
