Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I have a property management company in Florida that has just sold 50% of its stake to another person and that individual has definitely changed the complexion of the business. He also owns his own properties and markets them through the company creating a possible conflict of interest. Would we be within our rights to break the contract based on these material changes?

The answer depends almost entirely upon the terms of your contract and what specifically he is doing. Without that information, an answer you could rely upon is not possible. I would first try to work things out with him. Perhaps it is possible for you to buy him out you for him to buy you out.
