Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Purchased business one year ago from HUSBAND. Going through divorce and are legally seperated. Former business owner (Husband) has opened similiar business and is going to our customers asking for payment that is owed to us. Customers are giving him the payments. What are the ramifications of this?

Any attorney will ask, when you say "owed to us" do you mean your separate business or the competing one opened by your husband? Depending on what's really happening, he may be engaged in fraudulent activity and unfair competition to name just a few. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
