We have been receiving a lot of questions about similar situations lately. Due to the frequency of this situation, I'm beginning to wonder if it is not a some kind of bait-and-switch scam by dealerships. If you believe consumer fraud is involved, you should report it to the FL Attorney General's office. http://www.myfloridalegal.com/
You must look at your sales contract. It should state what happens if the financing falls through. Please be very wary of signing another contract with a much higher interest rate. If possible, obtain your own financing rather than using the dealership financing. If in doubt, please have an attorney review all the current paperwork and any new paperwork before signing.
Good luck.
