Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

I purchased electronics at wholesale from a website a month ago. They cashed the check (amount was over $18,900) and never sent the goods. What recourses do I have to recover my money? They are in Florida, I'm in California.

Hello:

You can file a law suit against them. You would need an address (or check with the Sec. of State for reg. agent), pay a filing fee with the Clerk of court for the County where the company resides. You may also contact the Governor's office (look for consumer affairs or something like that...perhaps check with Atty. General's office) or contact the State Attorney's Office in the County where the Comp. resides to inquire if there is any criminal action that can be brought. The Gov't. brings any criminal actions...you are responsible for civil actions.
