Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
We have purchased a shutters for our bedroom about 3 months ago. After they installed it I noticed it was defective and will not even shut the way it should be. I called the owner of the Business within a week after the installation and he promised that he will come back & fix it. Weeks had passed I never heard from him and everytime I tried to call he never answers my call. Do I have a case.
Please help!!
Sincerely,

No way to know on the facts. You should write -- not call -- to memorialize the fact that the shutters are bad. It may be the installation of it could be the product. A call is next to meaningless since there is no proof that it ever happened. Write, fax, send by certified mail.
Yes, you probably do have a case. But, you must send a certified letter as Mr. Wagner said.
