Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

Real Estate

Can I have personal and business

contracts with clients and assist them in

their day-today business needs and be

considered an independent

contract(consultant) and collect a fee on

a monthly basis. Can I run all these

different endeavors through one

business entity which is a real estate

brokerage?

Re: Real Estate

I am unsure what exactly all of your different endeavors are, but do all of these endeavors fall under the purpose of the established business entity? Could there be other reasons you may want to create a separate entity? Do your IC agreements list you, individually, or your company? There is a wealth of useful information available for small business owners on the U.S. Small Business Administration's website, and you can also check out the information provided on the Florida Division of Corporations' website, sunbiz.org. Best of luck.

The answer provided here is for general information purposes and does not establish an attorney-client relationship.
