Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I received an email from a local business competitor informing me that they have been stealing all my brochures from in front of my store and throwing them away. I now have video of them taking large amounts of brochures out of the bin in front of my store. The local police say they cannot do anything about it. I find that hard to believe so are there any corporate laws that pertain to fair competition or anything to prevent someone from doing this?

As a franchise attorney, I can't believe your competitor would be so stupid as to inform you via email they've been sealing your brochures. There are a number of torts against them for you to consider. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
