If I register a domain through yahoo small business what is the best way to take over my domain? What kind of legal documents do I need to get to make sure I don't lose my domain/ Company name?

You really don't have to do much so long as Yahoo acted as the registrar. There is a website where you can confirm the domain name owner (i.e. whois.com).

The other attorney is right on point here. You need to see what Yahoo's protocol is for transferring your domain name. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
