The issue appears to be a landlord-tenant legal matter. You are not responsible
for such property unless you have expressed some responsibility or your landlord
included the issue in your lease agreement. Tenants are generally responsible for
removing all personal property from the premises and can't hold you responsible
for the property without some legal basis for doing so.
