Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Resale License.
Hi,
Does a person have to have a business license to obtain or use a resale license for buying whole sale? Like say for example if they wanted to make craft items for their home at a lesser price? Or perhaps just to sell some things online bidding sites? I know people without business licenses sell on ebay and the like, but can they use resale license without one? Either way?

Re: Resale License.
There is no state license required except a sales tax number, but your county or city may require a license. You should call them to check.

The county may require a lisence, but not the state. You'll need a sales tax form though. contact the county licensing people and they can help.
