Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
resignation
if a person resigns orally from a chapter and said resignation appears in the minutes and is approved, is this person officially resigned?
we are part of a national organization and the national portion does not recognize a resignation without a formal letter. they say as far as they are concerned it is chapter business. Our feelings are that this person is still a member of the national organization but not our chapter. am i correct
