Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Am I responsible for their property?
A customer left their wheels and tires at my establishment for over two months. In December they were stolen from my property. I have the police report to prove it. Two months later the customer is asking for their wheels. I told them that they were stolen. Now, the customer is saying that they are taking me to court . Is this my responsibility or theirs? After all, they were on my property for over two months.

Re: Am I responsible for their property?
It depends upon the type of agreement you had
and all the facts and circumstances of your case.
There is a possibility you could be liable under
a bailment theory.
