Restaurant's right to refuse service

I have an ex-employee who was fired under terminable offenses. He continued to come into the restaurant daily because his roomate was still employed there. She was asked to inform him to not come into building anymore because he disrupted the staff and took her away from her work. He had also split up a couple that worked at the restaurant and seemed to taunt the guy from whom he'd taken his girlfriend. This caused more disturbances. I asked his roomate to meet him outside if he needed anything. He continued to come into the restaurant. Two managers on different occasions had to ask him to leave the restaurant after being told not to enter the premises. The most recent confrontation happened tonight when he was sitting at a table, trying to hide from me. The person with him told us he was an ''attorney'' and where was it stated we could refuse service? The gentleman said they would contact us on Monday and I just wanted to get some documentation of laws.

If he disrupts your business again, instead of listening to the so-called lawyer friend, call the police and let the police know that this disgruntled former employee has repeatedly disrupted your business, and despite being advised not to return, has continued to return to disrupt your business and taunt current employee(s). Mr. Annoyance does not have a license to harrass at will in your private establishment. Call the police every single time he shows up to bother you, your employees or your patrons, and that should put an end to the disturbance, unless he is mentally unstable and eager to be arrested.
